Skank Thing went through several incarnations –

MKI – Jon Turner, John Yates, Paul Turner, Jim Burke and Simon Turner 1989-90 released 'Ecstasy Suitcase' (1990);
MkII - Jon, John, Paul, Jim, Richard Burke, DJ Valderama and Johnny Bongoes 1991-92 released 'Fabamundo' (1991);
MkIII - Jon, John, Paul, Jim, Richard and Adam Yates 1992-94 released 'Night of The Living Chiveheads' (1993);
MkIV - Jon, John, Paul and Adam 1994-2000 released 'Mutually Shitfaced' (1995).

There was a ten anniversary gig where Jim came back. After that Skank Thing as in Old Skank terminated. In 2010 Adam, Paul and John did the final act of trilogy as in New Skank with 'Skankonology'; 'The Dancehall That Dripped Blood' and 'Aftermath'.
Then you come to this. The release of the previously unreleased fifth album from the late MkIV era, originally meant to follow-on directly from ‘Mutually Shitfaced’, it’s called ‘For the time after, we got it sussed’. It features material originally recorded at the time between 97-2002, plus re-recorded versions of tracks from that era finalized in 2011 including in one case the use of lyrics dating back to 94 to create the track ‘Is Da Cheambeat Dead?’.
